My 5 year old daughter, Catherine, has been working with Barbara for a year. Barbara is patient with her and has taken the time to build her trust; she knows and understands her as a person, not just a child with a speech delay. Between that bond and Barbara’s skill as a therapist, I’ve seen Catherine blossom from a child who was unable to express herself into one who can verbally connect with peers and adults to convey her sense of humor, intelligence and emotion. The difference is like night and day and I credit Barbara for the transformation.
