I consulted with Allison Phillips about dysphagia and swallowing issues caused by a cerebellar stroke which I had 2 and 1/2 years ago. Having had 2 years of speech therapy, I wondered what help speech therapy could do for aggravating speech symptoms I still had. Allison was insightful and smart about my symptoms and changes in the speech therapy field over time. (I like that she cited research.) She was helpful, kind and inspiring. I highly recommend her!

I saw Allison Phillips for an initial consultation. She was very good at listening to me, asking follow-up questions, and addressing my concerns. She gave some tests and evaluated the results. At all times she seemed very competent and thorough. I later had some follow-up questions and she responded promptly and professionally to these. I am very happy with her services.
