Having worked in the I/DD field for 54 years, I am sharing my impressions in this context, as a trainer, administrator and consultant in 49 states working with thousands of staff and many hundreds of provider agencies. Clearly the Chandler Gilbert Arc is an exemplary provider of supports to people with I/DD. The Organization’s focus on quality of life for those supported is to be highly celebrated. Staff at all levels of the Organization demonstrate outstanding competence in what they do, combined with remarkable compassion and sensitivity toward those they support.
