Our family met Lauren Gillette through Early Intervention when she was assigned to our son as his speech therapist when he was around 1 year old. Our son (Super Cooper) is now 11 and is mostly nonverbal, so we’ve had exposure to our share of really good speech therapists (EI, private, school) in addition to lots of other wonderful specialists focusing on, for example OT, PT. Lauren is, hands down, the most amazing therapist we’ve ever interacted with – not just speech therapist but therapist....

We worked with Lauren with speech therapy. My daughter was extremely shy and had a very hard time warming up to people. Lauren was patient and took the time to gain her trust before making her work too hard! She was fabulous at working within the kids comfort level, while pushing them a bit....
