As an adoptive mom of children with significant early childhood trauma and as a special education advocate, I was immediately interested in the Breaking Chains Course. Since adopting in 2015, I have immersed myself in trauma informed literature and courses, but have never learned as much as I did in this course. From the very beginning of this course, I was able to apply new trauma informed strategies, access printable resources, and share new knowledge with coworkers! I woke up each morning with an eagerness and passion to listen to the daily module. I couldn't wait to learn more! Each lesson was taught with respect to diversity, flexibility, and compassion for all learners and survivors of trauma.
