My son had an extreme speech delay. Mrs. Bruning helped my son make his first coherent attempt at a word in 3 weeks, when a year and a half of other speech therapists made no progress. Because of Mrs. Bruning, my son was able to enter kindergarten on time. How behind my son was made me heartbroken and left me feeling helpless. Not only did Mrs. Bruning teach my son, she also took time out of her day to help my son after he graduated from speech therapy. On multiple occasions we called her to help my son with pronouncing words. My sons progress in life has been forever credited to Mrs. Bruning’s work with him.
