Stamatia has been with us at the Hampstead Dyslexia Clinic for the past year as both a Specialist Teacher and Specialist Assessor. She is an excellent Specialist teacher, working with our children from ages 7 to 14, who have been identified with dyscalculia and dyslexia. Using games, manipulatives and multi-sensory techniques to engage and solidify the basics for many of our students who have been unable to learn the fundamentals in Maths and English, Stamatia demonstrates patience and creativity.

Our 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and dyscalculia in school year 5. Stamatia has worked with her for over a year now and through that time we’ve seen huge improvements in our daughter's understanding and approach to numeracy and literacy. Stamatia has helped increase her confidence whilst developing learning strategies for her to cope with different problems. Our daughter genuinely enjoys spending time with Stamatia, who is so calm, kind, methodical and positive in her approach.
