Parent of Preschool Aged Client
Karina is observant, flexible, enthusiastic, and makes our child feel safe. She is remarkable with children, our child likes her and does not want our sessions to end. Speech therapy is tailored to our child's unique needs through creative approaches based on strategies to foster success. She effectively incorporates songs, clapping, flavored tongue depressors, and blowing to increase airflow to achieve the desired results. She has a natural way of redirecting and regaining focus with our preschool aged child. She is an excellent communicator, consistently demonstrates her knowledge, and effectively breaks down jargon to us as she works with our child. We are familiar with technical terms like substitutions, backing, deaffrication, stopping and lateralization because of her. Karina is punctual, reliable, hardworking and trustworthy; she is an absolute joy to work with. Our decision to work with Karina has made a tremendous difference, and we are very pleased with the progress that our child has made in the last year. We are incredibly fortunate to have Karina as a speech therapist and cannot recommend her enough.
