Do you have concerns with your child’s Speech and language development? I am a registered Independent Speech and language Therapist with 20 years clinical experience.
I have special interests in working with pre-school and school aged children with a variety of speech and language concerns.

We have been referring families to Moira for over five years. Moira offers a unique, flexible approach in that she sees families either in her purpose-built cabin at home, or here, at our Nursery, which is so convenient for our parents and children. Every child and family that we refer, has flourished under her care and direction, and we as practitioners, have learnt so much from her expertise and knowledge. Moira has endless amounts of energy and patience, and her sessions always look and sound fun. Families often fear the thought of what speech and language sessions may entail, but Moira takes all the fear away. Every activity is thought out with the child in mind and is positive and engaging. The children look forward to her sessions and embrace them eagerly. If you are considering speech therapy for your child, but not sure what to do, or where to go, I recommend you give Moira a call and talk things through.

Moira has taught me so much about how to communicate and play with my son. After gaining an asd diagnosis at 2, my son started speech and language therapy. We had tried other therapists and we couldn’t find anyone who could connect with him or who knew how to gain his attention. Then we found Moira and I feel so lucky that we did. Moira’s clinic is a friendly and welcoming place where my son happily goes in to. Her clinic is colourful, organised and full of exciting toys that she gets out in a way she knows my son will like. My son is now 4 and I rely on our sessions so that Moira and I can work together to discuss short- and long-term goals as well as learn ways to play. Moira has taught me that connection is everything and I always feel inspired and refreshed to go home and continue the work that she does. Moira is patient and understanding and always follows his lead. Moira is fantastic at what she does and has been a huge part of our journey. The consistency and persistence that she offers has helped my son develop so much and I know I will be using her for years to come.
