I recommend Brittany Avera. My son has autism and was challenged with social language. My son did well academically and spoke eloquently. However, it was difficult to have a conversation with him at 14 years old. Brittany Avera was my son's speech therapist for the 4 years of high school. I am happy to say that he started improving immediately. I type this with tears of joy and it is a wonderful feeling to be able to have a conversation with my son and he also starts conversations with me which is big. I hope my story helps someone.

I have to tell you that I am more encouraged by this path of therapy than I have been with most others in the past. I feel like this is really addressing some real and practical issues. (So, the name of your practice is perfect!) It is so important for us to stay focused on the things that actually help provide tools for our everyday life.
