We are thankful for the dedicated staff at ALCA. When Brian began at ALCA, he had minimal communication skills. Without communication, he was unable to express himself and would get so frustrated. Now, 12 years later, even though he’s non-verbal, he is constantly talking to us using his device that ALCA taught him to use. His whole world has changed thanks to ALCA!

We are thankful for the ALCA staff for a million reasons but here is one…they see Claudia for the amazing person she is. Oftentimes, Claudia is underestimated by others because of her atypical behaviors. But the ALCA staff doesn’t judge her or think less of her. Instead, they treat her with respect, they celebrate all the wonderful things she is made of and are able to reach her full potential as a student and amazing human being.
