Karla Wilkins Speech

...my son was referred to Karla Frost Wilkins at Capable Kids following a neuropsychological evaluation that detected speech and language issues. Karla completed a thorough assessment with clear treatment goals applicable for both school and home. She has worked with my son weekly since that initial meeting and coordinated with our school's ever-changing SLP to make sure that his IEP goals are appropriate and relevant. Karla has also coordinated treatment goals with my son's OT so that there has been a real collaborative feeling to their work with him. Recently Karla attended an IEP meeting for my son and was such a strong advocate that she was able to get accommodations back in place that had prematurely been taken away, as well as some get some additional accommodations in place that will provide him with the greatest amount of support in an academic setting. I am extremely grateful to have Karla as part of my son's treatment team.
