Carrie has been an absolute game changer for our daughter. I suspected something wasn’t clicking with reading for her, and once we saw her plummeting scores, I knew I had to find her the help she needed. Carrie was the perfect solution. Her knowledge, expertise, patience, and willingness to accommodate a reluctant reader have made a world of difference. Not only is my child finally making tremendous gains in reading, but her confidence has been restored.

Carrie worked closely with our son at school to provide strategies to break down words, secure knowledge of correct letter and combined letter sounds, and increase his vocabulary. My son would say how much fun he had during his lessons with Mrs. Begalke, which was due to Carrie taking the time to understand his interests and incorporate them into his lessons. Carrie even went above and beyond to find books that catered to my son’s interests making reading less of a chore! Lastly, we appreciated the open communication between us, from answering all my questions to her explaining goals and recognizing achievements.
