As a parent of a young man with serious mental illness, I was distressed with the lack of quality residential services in New Mexico. My son had lost his apartment and was living at Behavioral Health Institute. Wilson Residential now known as ALIVE was willing to have my son live at one of their homes in Rio Rancho. He was pleased to move into a home with a dog and a great view from his bedroom. Staff helped him set up his SSI and take him to the doctor. What a relief to find this program in New Mexico.
