Mrs. Shannon has been working with my son, Asher, since February 2021. When we first started working with her, he was two years old and was recently diagnosed with Autism two months prior. He had an extremely limited vocabulary and understanding of language with only knowing three words when we had our first meeting with her. Asher quickly became comfortable around her and was eager to learn with her. First, we started with some simple sign language and gestures and worked our way up to verbalizing simple things like "eat, more, please, etc." Here we are a year later and Asher's vocabulary has blossomed and he is starting to speak in 3-5 word sentences! His Autism makes it hard to open up to people but he adores Shannon...

We have been working with Shannon since October (6 months now) and I have seen so much progress in just this little time frame. Peyton went from not talking at all to knowing her animal sounds, saying some words, and she's even starting to sign now. We are forever grateful for Shannon. I can't wait to see how much more progress Peyton makes. Thank you!!
