Center For Independent Living Opportunities

I have used the Center for Independent Living as a resource for individuals that I know throughout the community for a number of years. The staff there has always done such a great job of providing the information that the people I refer need. From helping retired couples stay in their homes longer to helping young couples that have a child with disabilities learn about all of the resources available to help them support their child’s continued growth and development, I have personally seen the impact that CIL can have. The CIL has also helped me learn about different resources in the community as well so that I can do a better job of supporting the people that I work with. I look forward to continuing to working with the Center for Independent Living to help educate the community on how to help people with disabilities maintain independent lifestyles.
